It's been quite a while since I have photographed this waterfall... and probably the first time I have sat there and not got soaked!! Almost sunset, and some light just hit the tip of Bidean Nam Bian..though not as much as I had hoped for - will just have to go back and try again Smile

Is this the water that usually has a triangular hill behind it, and a birch tree in the middle distance?

If so, a real accomplishment: a different view!

(And not getting soaked is, from my limited experience, an equally great accomplishment...)

Now you're just showing off, Jeanie.
I could have the hill floodlit and still wouldn't get this picture.

I really like the subtle hint of colour in the cloud and the overall clarity and sense of movement is excellent, a really eye-catching image, deserves a UA from me!!

Thank you Ann, Christine, Ivor, John, Pete, Alec and Andy Grin

John no its not the Buachaille - this is the other end of Glencoe, not far from the Clachaig pub Smile ...oh and I found a photo from when I started on this site - and it was from here - with blue sky!! I clearly selectively chose to forget that trip lol!

Andy thank you very much for your User Award - very much appreciated Smile
