I wanted to go and shoot it today. Couldn't make my mind up whether to go on top of Bamford Edge, Below the dam or on the dam. I ended up not going - I bet it was an amazing experience watching it fly past.

A pity you didn't go - it was a great experience, Dave. I just wonder how much longer they'll be able to keep the old lady flying.
The sky was rubbish so shooting from on or below the dam wouldn't have produced as good pictures as from the Edge.

I think they just finneshed a major overhaul of the Lanc,good to see a new perspective ,maybe could crop out the car at the bottom edge
