What a beautiful warmth to the light. I like the way the cross is back lit by, I assume, by the stone behind it.

What a great shot. Almost metallic in colour, have you manipulated or used filters? great choice, whatever you used.
The leadlines are spot on, and the small cluster of surfers have something quite bug-like about their appearence. (I think the sails remind me of lacewings)

Puddle of wind!

Puddle of wind! by nugs321

I wouldn't worry if there is none, one or a million images like this on here. I would challenge anybody to come up with a truely orginial shot. It is done, but quite rarely.
The important thing is to see what you do with the shot, how you interpret it and how well your picture comes out.
It is nice to see to see something a little out of the norm.
Well done

I like the crop of this flower, the huge black area really focuses the mind on the flower.

I like how the shadows on the wall compliment the shape of the strawberry, framing it nicely. I'm not too sure about the bee, personally I think this destracts from a great strawberry study.
Could be a bit sharper, but the overall colour of the background and foreground and the composition get's my click

The Lochness.

The Lochness. by Jonatan

I'm not too sure if I agree with the tighter crop as the rim of the bucket seems to give the monster context and scale.
A bucket monster seems more 'believable'!
Using the age old 'hand cropping method' squaring off the photo loosing the top part does seem to balance the photo more.
Great fun though, Clicked - Adam

awwwwww, poor thing, he went out with his mates, came home and the misses broke off his legs. Let that be a lesson to us all.

Something a little different for a flower close-up. I Like how it looks like it's exploding across the screen.

Nice DoF for a macro shot, sharp and nicely positioned. But I think it would have been better if you could see more of the strawberry. Then again, it would then just be another strawberry shot, so well done for a different view.

David,
Me and my 10D were in New Zealand in 2003, but I missed this shot and anything like it. (You may recognise the pier photo on my profile)Beautiful pic, you can see it was a 'stop you in your tracks' scene.
Anyone thinking of going to NZ - DO IT! It's Brilliant.

I think this would have ben a great study except for the text. Take it off please, or tone it down a wee bit.
You did however, get my click for a great flower study, great colours very striking.
