Been hanging food in a bush in an attempt to get some birdies to come closer. There are a few jays that sometimes alight in the garden, and today one was kind enough to stop by.
lovely shot. christine
What a cracking shot .
Please bear in mind that you have committed the cardinal sin, you have openly admitted putting out the bait.
Gorgeous colours, background as well as foreground. And the perfect crop of course... Good to see you around.
Excellent captured jay
We very rarely see jays in these parts. It's a pleasure to see this one so clearly defined in such good colour
Great to see you on site!
Great to see you posting again Lucy.
A fine capture of this rather secretive bird. Occasionally see them around here.
What a fine jay you have attracted....must be the tasty crumbs from all the fancy cooking going on
I like the rosy tones of this jay...much more subtle than our raucous Blue Jays.
he looks so expectant...
a great image
Beautiful..lovely light & detail.
Aha,nice of you to pop in Lucy to see how the other half live !!
I have tried this trick before about baiting my birds with food.
I don't mind the food, but it is when they insist on an expensive bottle of wine to go with it,that is what I object too !!
Good shot, and let Pascal do some household duties for you,so we can see more of you !!
Never had one in my garden before - so well done you
Lovely to see you pop in
