Last week I stayed out in the thunder and lightning for over 3 hours remaining optomistic that some good light would follow. I gave up and started to drive home. Then in coming out of Langdale valley I saw a clearing in the sky and diverted to Loughrigg Tarn, knowing it would be side lit if the sun coule emerge. I arrived to find that both the rim of Loughrigg itself and the reedy front edge of the tarn lake were bathed in golden sunlight.
I went into frantic action.
Only basic levels and smart sharpen applied. No added saturation or need for burning/dodging.
Thank you so much for looking.
Kind regards
Adrian

Don't know how I missed this one Adrian, a fantastic capture. I've been at this place many times but never come away with anything of this quality. Well worth waiting out and making a detour for.
Darren.
