Heavy thunderstorms during the August afternoon did not make me optimistic about the prospect of a sunset, but I am glad I persevered.
The Langdale Pikes are beyond the end of the jetty.
Only standard levels and curves on this one.

I hear the crickets beginning their songs, I smell the sweet fresh aroma of rain, I see myself on the jetty admiring creation's glory. I love the picture...it takes me to a scene of serenity, peace and hope.
