A tunnel located on Inchcolm island, on the firth of forth.

The actual file when I was working on it in photoshop has much more shadow detail, but it doesn't seem to be reproducing on the web for some reason? Using a colour calibrated monitor here as well, so not sure why this is happening. If anyone has any suggestions as to why this is that would be appreciated.

Thanks for looking,
Michael.

I like the overlapping lines and arcs. The darkness works for me, I don't feel the need to pry into every shadow but I know the annoyance - images often upload here with less brightness and detail than when viewed on my hard drive.

It looks just fine on my monitor. I see quite a lot of detail in the shadows. I like it.

I agree with Moira's comment. The image looks very good as it is. I certainly don't look at the dark areas and find myself wishing for more detail. Very well composed as well.

The fashionable too much detail in all shadows is something imho that needs to be put to bed.Smile Nothing wrong with blocky Blacks and blown out whites when controlled.

Your image is well balanced (No blown out areas ) and bottom left works well in deep shadow.
