Thanks for the CC's on my last upload. Always much appreciated.
I managed to spend most of a very pleasant day at Greylake and with the warmer weather the ducks are beginning to think about Spring.
The sequence of pictures here is very much anthropomorphized but I had a great deal of fun watching the Shovellers antics so this little story is told by the drake -

'When I first get up in the morning I enjoy a good bath, rolling over onto my back and ducking (haha) my head under water and splashing and getting good and wet. (V1)
Then I have a good shake to waken up and get the water off and, if I am honest, show off a little! (V2)
The next thing is to warm up by doing a few running takeoffs (V3) followed by some jump jet takeoffs (V4) which are sometimes assisted by one or two sneaky attacks from behind! (V5)
Once I have warmed up I usually join up with a few friends to do some circuits with steep turns and formation flying over the surrounding countryside (V6)
Landing in formation is also an important part of the mornings flying and we try to be as smooth and elegant as possible. (V7)
By the time I get home my old lady is usually awake and having a good scratch (V8) and then she spends most of the morning smartening up, although I think she looks quite cute already. (V9)
Hope you like them. A

Your intro really raised a smile and the set is just delightful. Love the colours and action in V1 especially but what a super sequence you made of them.
