Many thanks for all the CC's on my recent upload - your time and comments much appreciated.
The weather has been abominable and this has confined me to doing paperwork at home very unsuccessfully. I have looked for an appropriate way of expressing my desire for the sun.
Some months ago I took shots of a backlit Bittern which was uploaded to epz - so I found a winter landscape from the Somerset levels, with breaking mist which seemed to express an approaching opportunity for sunlight, and put the Bittern into context.
I also managed to get a few shots of the swallows when they arrived in Spring - like the Swifts a very difficult subject. These two swallows bathed in sunlight also brighten up my day.
Heres hoping it gets brighter for all of us in the UK soon.
Hope you like them. A
