One from yesterday Morning at 06:30 from the rocks at Javea on the Mediterranean coast.
The dawn sky was just starting to change but wanted to capture the light house beam on the water.
A 5 min exposure at F11.
Thanks for looking and will try and catch up with everyone as the week progresses.
Regards Richard

You've caught the lighthouse well Richard, nice long exposure, I guess you didn't shoot many at this time of the night?

Looks like a nice way to start the day Richard, hope you enjoyed your holiday.
Darren.
The qualities of ths shot come through in the large version. Nice one Richard.
There's nothing like getting up and catching that morning light - it's beautiful anywhere in the world, and often has a different quality depending on where you are too.

Welcome back Richard...hope you had a good time.
There is a calmness about this image which make it feel very relaxing...fab time of day and you have captured it perfectly....love that hint line of colour on the horizon.
Great work.
Thanks for ur comment, it carries a lot.
Okay I'm convinced I vow to take my tripod on holiday..get up early and use the thing..this has convinced me to give it a try...beautiful.
technical question[from me heck I'm ill).how come with such a long exposure you manage a narrow light beam..thought it would play across the water..or is it a static beam?
