Taken the day we were leaving, I took this sunrise from our Hotel Balcony in Sliema, Malta. I wanted a sunrise for the whole week we were there and had to wait until the 11th hour to capture it (or the 5th hour is more accurate).
All comments and votes very welcome indeed.

Wow Adam, thanks very much for your user award, it is very much appreciated and a shock, as my recent Malta images have not attracted too much attention. This means a lot to me. Thanks once again, you've made my day! It was worth getting up a 5am after all!

What a way to end your Malta holiday - my guess is that this will be a memory for a long time to come - I mean who could forget that amazing colour and such neat timing so you still have the night lights holding their last dying emebers befor ethe bustle of the day (as you can tell I am getting excited by the atmosphere you have squeezed in here).
Malta is indeed a wonderful place to visit. This is a fine example of the shots to be had.Fantastic colours, well done. JIM.

Malta certainly is a special place to visit (just look at my recent images) and I don't think it'll be too long before I go back.

Thank you for your kind words, you are so fortunate living on such a beautiful island. Wow, Malta seems such a long time ago now. I had a wonderful time there and finally capturing a sunrise rounded off my holiday to perfection. There are plenty more pictures of Malta in my portfolio, please enjoy them at your leisure. I will hopefully be back someday.
