The old portfolio was looking a bit subtle so I thought "we'll soon change that"
One mangled mill (well, windpump really) and here we are.
Thanks for looking
One of thousands, but equally as good a shot of this landmark
Much atmosphere in the Marsh, too.Magnificent image.
Quote: One of thousands, but equally as good a shot of this landmark
Bit harsh but know what you mean......If I lived close it would be millions...lol
I would flip them to get No2 to the front.
Love the great rural atmosphere.
A wonderful composition, Kathy, love them both equally, so 1/2 vote each. Carol
What wonderful and well composed capture, love the light ,colour and detail in this images of set, very well done,
Seems a good time to be photographing windmills!
Love the atmosphere in this,
Two great shots.
A mangled mill that woks well as an image. Good stuff.
Beautiful shot! very atmospheric!
Cracking image, although i like em both - v2 just gets my vote.
Excellent sky and early morning light and details Kathy, good work V2 for me.
Nice is an understatement, stunning is more appropriate, V1, 2 its all the same.
I love this! It's definitely one of my favourites of this location
I definitely like the fg in V1 the most but thought I preferred the sky in V2. After much clicking between the two I now really love the sky in V1 for it's almost supernatural feel. I have just been to see Battle Los Angeles (which was rubbish by the way) but maybe that swayed my thinking.
Can't decide which of the two versions I like the better, Kathy: a superb location with you capturing the scene in a beautifully composed image and at a magical time of day.
Gorgeous treatment. V1 for me. Paul
Lovely capture. Love the tones in the sky. Well done.
Two superb moody images !.......both equally as good, though I have a vague preference for V2.......1st class !!!!
Looks a lot better than when I saw it on a very grey day!
So much Atmosphere just perfect.
V1 for me, I like a good mangling
I like them both, great images. Well done
Bit special Kathy.
Two belting images well done
This is such a wonderful image top class in every aspect in either version.
The mangled version appears to have more depth...
Absolutely gorgeous Kathy
By the sounds of it a very popular landmark to photograph?
That said, both stunning images regardless...just a personal thing but I prefer the foreground in No1 yet the sky in No2?
These are simply stunning and should have been worthy of a HC. The light, colour, composition and exposure are perfect.
Have only just caught up with this one and WOW! A very very high class image and a pleasure to view. Louise
A truly stunning image.
