Two Male Polar Bears meet on the pack ice a carcass is nearby. There was some growling from the individual on the left, but a healthy respect was the order of the day!!!!

Best not to argue when you'll only lose. Watched them on Frozen Planet last night, marvellous. The book is tremendous too.

Beautiful. I like the water in the b/g and those icy blues.
The trouble with polar bears is that you can see the blood and fight marks so clearly on their white fur. I hate that.

Another fascinating shot of the bears Ron. Magnificent animals in a fantastic environment with fine lighting. You've brought them all together so well.

Thank you all very much for the comments. I have not seen " Frozen Planet " yet getting the DVD Christmas, but any comparison is remarkable.
Ron.

You wont be disappointed with the DVD Ron, it's a fabulous series!
Your image has reminded me of the episode with the Polar Bears - how fantastic for you to see them up close! Smile
