Smoke Signals

Smoke Signals by martin.w

Great shot Martin. Do you mind telling me what day you took this on, as I have a sneaking suspicion it might have been the same day I was there. I remember looking up the mountain to where this would have been taken from and seeing a photographer up there. I'm wondering now if it was you? I was there on the 7th November at around 8am.

Paul's right, this is an absolutely stunning image and works brilliantly as a pano. The picture is bursting with interest, there is something great going on virtually everywhere you look.

Outstanding work.

Great shutter speed to catch this moment Martin. I was soaked, including camera, by one of these last year at Godrevy.

completely fooled me mate. from the thumbnail i thought this was one of your iceland shots - i thought the boat was that wonderful sea stack you see in many icelandic coastal pictures!

have to agree with den mate. the more you look at this the more it holds your attention. i would never think of going for such a small strip of sky, but it really works well.
