Another shot taken late on Saturday (12:30AM) after a curry and several of those huge Cobra bottles. Pint and a half in those I'm sure?
Taken on the approach to the bridge after many conversations with drunken but friendly natives wanting to know which paper I worked for.
I tried saying the Sun in a hope for some potential page 23 girls to show off their wares, but alas no...
Anyway, taken with the broken 15-30EX (aperture stuck full open at F3.5) for 4 seconds at 15mm.
Huge apologies go out to James (magicboy) as I completely forgot that he lives up there; he would have been more than welcome to join in the the trip from Bamburgh to Newcastle with 14 other photographers from usefilm.com. Blame the new job for the loss of memory.... will be up there again soon as met some canny lads.

Wow very sharp for a 4 second exposure, try altering the Raw white balance to Tungsten.
It sometimes gives a much more pleasant tonality and colour.
Great picture
may try the tungsten thing... though think I'd mistakenly left it in JPG mode after doing some portraits (i.e. silly shots) in the curry house.....
Bob on Ade...seen a lot of pics of this, but I think I like this one best of all...click, Mac
Been out in pretty much the same place tonight myself... Heven't got anything as good as this, so don't think I'll bother posting anything now :o(
If I was being picky (and I am!), I would say that there seems to be some haloing/artifacts around the top edge of the bridge, but I'm only really being bitter because my shots didn't come out as well ;o)
you're right james - darn JPG compression...
not in the big shot though ![]()
