Was chatting with a client from these parts about photo ops up there and got me thinking about when I last went...
to see Danny and Sainty
Looked at the shots and thought I'd try this new "lightroom 4" thing on the old RAW files
Quite like what it did the the rocks, brought out detail that wasn't there in the old shots.
Like the lighting on the foreground rocks
Time flies! I like the tones in the sky Ade.
Superb composition, good light
Yes there is a good glow from the rocks, fine shot.
Yes, finding the same with LR4 myself. The 2012 process version is something else. The clarity slider especially.
Oh and fine image.
Brilliant..Dont ..forget the word..Photography.......Regards ....John
Very nice Ade, those foreground boulders look awesome. Guess I ought to try this Lightroom thingy
it's a great piece of software oh and I will be doing a half day session on it soon so watch this space
Stunning landscape. Love the foreground and DOF.
Do you have LR3? Wondering how different LR4 is. The rocks here really are amazing - they look wet and slippery and real!
Great detail, cracking foreground. A terrific photo, well done.
Like it Ade, good details and moody sky.
LR4 is very very similar.... it';s integrated with BLURB so you can make books and the sliders have been improved... somehow...
but looks the same thankfully
Detail in the rocks is indeed very good. Works well!
bags of mood to this.lesley
Ooooo....impressive shot !!!......monster pebbles in that neck of the woods ???
yeah - they're eggs waiting to hatch
Congrats on the awards. Love the rocks in the fg, but I find the chromatic aberration around the castle and the horizon rather distracting. Would look so much better if you can deal with this.
A great shot Ade, love those big stones and the tones.
