Here's my old colleague Paul with his family, taken on the moors with 3 stobes gelled up to create a bit of a strange effect.. though you can't really see that with the duplex processing on this I guess.
It's not the easiest shoot when all your subject look like they;'re about to die and just want to run back into the car, so you've got to act fast, get reactions from them quick and move to the next setup!
On a summers day, you'd have 10 times longer to do each setup - just get them sat down, move their arms and legs into flattering positions etc. etc...
But not when it's -5!
