Photomatix and silver efx did all the work on this, I just took the 3 shots needed to feed their needs

youve made a drain look good as fg interest, i'm impressed.lesley
This was taken about 3 minutes after a 10 minute session of abuse from a drunk and his son - he basically stood there shouting Paedo for 10 minutes and looked like he was ready to have a battle... for nothing!
Got to keep your cool in these situations, let them blow their steam and they disappear after a while
Just after a rise and excuse to kick off
mind you, the manfrotto 055 and 222 head were ready for action baseball bat style!
Like your POV and the processing in this Ade.
Like it. The B&W gives it a nice atmosphere.
great composition. gritty piece of work.
I've been staring at this for 5 minutes trying to work out exactly where you had taken the shot. Finally realised it was Leeds and not Wakefield. I should have read your write up first!
Really nice shot and the processing works a treat. Have you given up on Oloneo?
Nice one Ade. I'm enjoying your recent hdr stuff.
well done and you got your picture out of the war zone

not given up as such - I just batch processed the Leeds set and the Exposure Fusion results were really nice. I didn't have much to do at all with this in PP - was probably about 5-10 minutes doing a bit of vertical straightening, bunny busting and then into Silver EFX.
If anyone does mono you simply must get that software

It's very good. Have you tried 'Virtual photographer' it's also good and free.
Yeah - virtual tog is pretty cool for free, I've been using it for years
I use it when I get stuck sometimes
that's a really cool street image, love it! Toorah, Bev
Great stuff, HDR looking very nice here. If you can make a drain cover look good you must be doing something right!
It's the contrasting detail that makes it. First thing that hits you is the main building in the center with that wicked-looking sky, then your eyes are drawn down the cobblestone and into the drain. Cool black and white.
