A rare portrait shot of kirkstone pass?

Maybe, just thought I'd have a change from the norm.

behind was rain, ahead was Brotherswater and that was still looking half decent.

Still, these were the last shots of the day before hitting Ambleside

Great moody shot - portrait works well here - extenuates the valley sides, giving you the closed in feeling you get when you're actually in the pass.

The detail is brilliant and considering you must have had a slow shutter speed to get the water so nicely...I presume there wasn't a breath of wind to move that grass.
