My cable release started playing up yesterday - those cheap chinese cables really are not worth the hassle, they work one day, then just die for no apparent reason.
So I resorted to using, don't tell anyone, ND Grads!!!
Yes - went to the museum and asked whether they had such relics and they did, so this is a shot with a "3 stop grad", whatever that is ![]()
The polariser stopped most of teh glare from the building and turned the windows magenta, quite nice I thought

That is really good. I like how the filters have changed the colours in the windows.
Nice architecture shot, i love the reflections on the water, the sky, the light
A good sense of drama. I like the patches of pinky/red they create a nice soft contrast.

I've got a Canon cable release that no longer works too Dave
Not always the case
Tried to fix it but getting the tiny screws unscrewed proved impossible with my screwdrivers
