A shot from Thursday again - this time a little firther away from the towers and employing a mooring stump thing for a piece of foreground interest. For all you landscapers, think of it as the "EPZ foreground rock".

The light had sunk a little in the 5 minutes between shots, so this was the last shot before we hit Rusholm.

Different feel here I think - much more sombre and more in keeping with EPZ in a way, dark sky etc.

Off to drink York dry now - hope it's not still flooded!

Better than your last one and that's saying summat. The light on that mooring stump thing is beautiful and I love the separation between the reflections and 'it' too Wink

took lots of crawling, tripod adjustment and general faff to get that right Paul!

was ready for the curry

went to Shezan - very pricey for Rusholm, not reommended, go to Shahenshah instead - lovely

Superb shot Ade. I think I might have preferred the stump thingy a bit nearer to the left side of the frame. Have had the presumption to do a mod. What you reckon?

Ta folks

Rog - don't you think that the main building is now a bit close to the frame edge? Creates an imbalanced shot - quite heavily weighted to the left.

Eat all sorts, just seems that curry houses are open, cheap and tasty

Hi David

this one's not HDR! it's just got 5 stops of ND grad filter on the sky parts to make the clouds nice and dark.
