It was very poor light outside so we made some of your own...

It's Dave Tandberg, so go comment on his photos or he'll be round!

Yeah, great portrait, Ade. So that's Tandberg. Bulldog? No hanging cheeks and no crumpled face - no bulldog. But he is definitely English - Staffordshire Bullterrier? That's good, black patches on the eyes, strong neck, concentrated look... Smile

you're all either brave or foolish!

had a good shoot after an uneventful drive. Amazing how different we had the lights set up for our respective portraits, quite interesting to see how dave got things set up.

no pink slippers I'm afraid, though I can't say whether he was trying to lick his danglies at any point... not when I was looking anyway!

cheers everyone.

Anyone who fancies the D&A portrait treatment, giz a shout... if you're not too far from Leeds

terrific shot ade with great lighting.

Great work. Your blue channel portraits always impress.

If I lived nearer to Leeds I would jump at your offer, but sadly a bit of a trek.

Does it look blown Tony? Both Dave and I were editing this one and we took care not to blow it - maybe worth checking the callibration on your monitor mate, cause it's defnintely not blown.

D&A Photography... has a ring to it! Smile

Never too worried about getting mugged when we're out on a shoot either!

it's callibrated, blown at bottom right, it looks as though the light was just next to him there, just passing a thought

I think the lighting and pose work well.

Having seen this, I'm glad I liked Dave's pic yesterday ... wouldn't fancy having to tell him why I didn't Smile

Jesus! That's the last time I criticise any of his shots!
Well lit. I can just about make out some detail in the shirt bottom right - but only just.

Pleased to be no 30 for such a cracking portrait. Glad I was nice to the old boy when I met him at Focus, otherwise he'd have probably duffed me up!!

Cheers folks

great portrait , good to know what he looks like :O)

di

good portrait, like the toning too. The light on the head and shoulders is exquisite. The light on the shirt below the ellbow is a different matter.
