A view not many see I'd guess - but it's from the front of a barge goig over the aqueduct mentioned at the bottom of the photo (can never spell it right)

126 feet high and 1007 feet long, 11 feet wide and all done and dusted in 1805!

Not bad eh?

Ey Up

We went over this ourselves recently, we have done it by foot as well, one hell of a drop!

Cheers

Super shot Ade.

I walked over this a few months ago and thought "never again". Too ruddy high for my liking.

Dave.

I wanted to see this when in Llangollen a couple of years ago, but didn't get time. Wish I had now, this is excellent and well done on the HC too.

Great perspective, detail and drama. Great image Ade.

Mark

I think I read somewhere or was told that several "bargees" have fallen off in its history - but its probably one of these myth things. Anyway, we mustn't dwell on morbid thoughts, an excellent shot.

Fantastic composition, love the perspective and how the canal ends in a pinpoint. Brilliant. Judi

Awesome image. VERY worthy of its 'HC'.

A dynamic perspective and excellent contrast go to make this a first-class image. Good work indeed.

Dave

This is amazing and worth at least an HC! I keep looking and looking......
