A view not many see I'd guess - but it's from the front of a barge goig over the aqueduct mentioned at the bottom of the photo (can never spell it right)
126 feet high and 1007 feet long, 11 feet wide and all done and dusted in 1805!
Not bad eh?

Ey Up
We went over this ourselves recently, we have done it by foot as well, one hell of a drop!
Cheers

Great composition, it looks like it goes on forever. Congratulations on the HC.

great image nice stormy sky,
you do wonder why he didnt think to put a rail up on the other side .... i remember going on this on the back of a narrowboat thinking if i just misplaced my feet now i'd be a gonner!
Did you get to the horseshoe falls in llangollen isnt it?
I think I read somewhere or was told that several "bargees" have fallen off in its history - but its probably one of these myth things. Anyway, we mustn't dwell on morbid thoughts, an excellent shot.
we think that there were railings on the ohter siede, but got used in the war fr municians
there's def. holes for them there, all th4e way along
A dynamic perspective and excellent contrast go to make this a first-class image. Good work indeed.
