It was the last bale in the field so the title seemed apt.

May be the last one of this bale that I post too - think it's the 4th appearance!!

It's basically the portrait version of the "Old Friend" shot I posted a few days ago, taken at Flamborough Head a few sundays ago.

Just what the doctor ordered on such a dull, overcast day as today (packed the camera away in the hope things are a little brighter tomorrow). Beautiful light and composition, Ade - those clouds, feeding out from the bale, are particularly striking.

Really warm shot. The creation of the yellow clouds are really effective and don't look strangely unnatural - as easily they might. Julia
