Another from the shoot with dave tandberg last night - we'd seen a really powerful sun illuminating the steam clouds from the M62 - fantastic.. and despite some manic driving on my part, the cloud ate the sun before we could get any shots...

so we made the best of it and I got this one.

upped the reds quite a lot here as the scene was blue-dominant. just after some contrasting colours

got some lovely wheat shots to come, but thought I'd do a different one today

This is brilliant. Reflections are great. Never thought I would like these chimneys.

Yep, cracking shot. Well upped with the colour contrasts. Fab silhouettes too.

Cooling towers feature in one or two of my paintings, they can be as gorgeous as Monet's haystacks - if you like that sort of thing.

Some wonderful light qualities Adrian, central band of silhouette somewhat dominant. Ron.

Nice.
Very dark compared to Tandberg's. Moody....
Cheers, goggz

Great sinister shot. Clive

Close call between this and Tand's for me ... this one for photographic merit .. tand's as a record shot with more realism ...

Make sense ??

Both nice work of my local Wink

Used to live near here when I was a kid, I remember going to look at the place when half of the cooling towers blew down in a storm.
