One thing you need to do with night shooting and light painting is plan somewhere inadvance, otherwise it's pretty hard to spot things so shoot in the dark...

We ended up back at my place for a few portrait shots as a result!

Used a few props but the old cigars seemed to do the do - though I felt really out of breath and dizzy after smoking a whole one in about 7 minutes!

A blue channel conversion - hopefully it's got that blue-note/miles davis look to it, or maybe just Dave flaunting the no smoking rules. Dunno - what do you see?

After what you said yesterday I was thinking you had been taking ariel shots from the high rises in Leeds lol.....
I like these kind of shots Rebecca did some of her b/f for her A level art and they went down well.

They certainly work well in b+w.

Like em both, thaough like I say on Daves, he looks a bit no smoker in the way he holds the cigar, but the rugedness of you both works well in the shots.

I see a bit of a gangster (with a pussycat side Wink) - just looked at Dave's shot, and both are very impressive for the lighting. Lovethe great whorls of smoke here.

Cracking shot. By the way, I've just been reading that you can get lung cancer etc just from looking at pictures of people smoking clickers better not look at any more of these.
