I like V2 in particular. I've tried on a couple of visits to make a composition out of the two monuments.

Superb, Adrian. I recognised the b&w treatment from afar. The sky over the old bridge is wonderful.
Last month the Bruce was surrounded with stakes and bunting of the keep-off-the-grass variety which rather lowered the tone. Much prefer your version.

Bill

This set really played on my heart strings! My much loved old stamping ground, Stirling. Know all these views so well, they really did bring the memories rushing back and as they are happy ones, many thanks! All 3 are beautifully composed and captured shots. Finding it hard to decide between V1 & V2. Think they will have to accept a half share each!

Like Ann, I know Stirling and it's environs very well, Adrian, an aunt having lived there for many years. Each of these photos is so crisp, well composed and working so well with the B and W treatment, Adrian. A very good set that brings back many memories for me.

Sounds like Ann knows Stirling very well. I briefly past Stirling before but I don't recognize any of the scene.
Three well composed and captured images Adrian, and nicely converted mono. I especially like v1.
