Beautifully lit, great expression. The pose looks a little awkward but that just adds to its quirkiness and overall it works.

Hi Richard, just seen this. You should have asked, I could have saved your shoe leather. Any way a great shot of him, it's a chain saw carving by Nansi Hemming you can read about it HERE .

Your ability to see the shot and take it where others dare not tread is evident in this self-portrait. Who else would subtly include the necessary (for the protection of your magnificent, yet understated jewels) guard dog in the background, by placing him partly in shade, you have in one stroke reduced his overall presence and yet still allowed him to be a threat.

Congrats.

Not keen on the frame but like the image very much.

One question, how do we know that the horizon is straight?

little help???

Hi Mik, not sure what you are getting at here but I'll take a guess that when you upload, the colours you see on ePz are muted in comparison with how the image looks in PSP, if this is true, you probably are viewing in PSP in a Colour Space Mode which is not sRGB. I havent used PSP for some time but remember that you can change the default colour space in the preferences and/or you can also set the proofing colour space to sRGB to allow a preview of your image as it will look on a web site.
To bring the colour out more, boost the Saturation from the menu (cant remember where it lives in PSP).

This and some of your other recent uploads have reminded me to visit Clyne soon.

P.S. do you think that your Personal Info could do with updating in view of your migration to digital

Bringing warmth to my dismal day, another belter Keith.

To repeat Boyds question, what is that object to the left of the path as it disappears into the mid-ground?
