Far too much business travel and not enough time for photographs or keeping up to date with ePZ. Still I had to take the camera to South Africa, and this was the best sky I got, (clear blue the rest of the time), as a cold front blew through.

Table Mountain from the usual viewpoint at Blouberstrand.

Comments appreciated.

A special image made so by a unique persective and dramatic sky. Love the even flow of light from land to sky... though I wish the water were not quite so bright. I think this slice of scape would also make a marvelous vertical panorama. My compliments. (click)

Great use of understated forground, keeping the sky as the dramatic area of the photo. Have to agree with Nick ... I like everything about this photo.

Might just have recommend placing a border around it to increase presentation.

Great shot, obviously being from that part of the world I can agree about the weather not being at it's best. Glad to see you made the most of it.

A wonderful comp, love the way the Fg vegetation leads through to the little hillock of sand directing you across the sea to the mountain beyond.

Thank you all very much, I've really struggled finding time to get out this year, due to too much business travel, so it's nice to be back, even for a short time, and get some encouragement / constructive criticism.

Andy

The table cloth is definately on the mountain.
Fantastic shot. Were you at Table view?
Such a contast with the brooding clouds compared to the soft white sand. The silver of the plant leaves compliment the white surf.
Very good.

This is a very special shot indeed, Andrew. The cool, understated tones and colours in the foreground are extremely striking and contrast beautifully with the stormy features beyond. A real beauty.
