I know that there has been a glut of these shots over recent weeks but having resisted the temptation thus far, I could resist no longer when yesterday I spotted this shot in a local park. Apologues to those of you who have seen more than enough of this type of shot but Keith Henson is responsible with his In A Meadow series.

Don't have a clue what this is called, hence the caption 'Bottle Brush' as that is what it reminds me of.

All comment gratefully received, good, bad or indifferent.

Sun was high and almost directly behind subject.

P.S. Keith, you have only yourself to blame for unleashing the monster. ;0)
Hope you don't mind the association.

Adrian.

Simple but strong composition. I like the colours and the lightning too. Clicked.

Nice simple composition and great use of DoF. Can't help you with the ID but 'Bottle Brush' works for me.

I've no problem with this - love the composition, DOF and the lighting isn't harsh. Like it.

Yikes, admitting you did something because of Mr H is brave enough to deserve a click by itself.

Beautiful unsharp blobs of colour in the BG. Would make a nice abstract by itself. Ideas... Thanks!
