The 90ft Henrhyd Falls near Colbren in the Brecon Beacons.

When I arrived, there was a group of teenagers playing in the pool above the falls just a few feet from the edge, thankfully, the only thing I saw coming over the top was water.

Only a thin veil due to the dry weather of late, I must go back when there is more of a flow.

A super waterfall shot. Great exposure keeping the sky blue.

Thumbnail doesn't do this justice, it's a beautiful shot.
Wonderful lighting, makes the water look surreal.

great exposure. I'm amazed that you managed to blur the water, get the sky blue, and get all the greens toO!

This is a great shot. Love the thin veil of water - rather surreal. The way you have captured the pale blue effect the water makes as it hits is amazing. Lots of other nice things framing the water to. Well done!

Good shot of the falls, nice angle. Mind you, that's a fair old flow for Henrhyd, caught it on a good day!!

Thanks to all for looking, appreciate the comments.

Gerwyn, cheers for the local knowledge. This was my first visit to Henrhyd, just thought there was usually more flow as the wet area on the top portion of the face is almost twice as wide as the flow in this shot.

Adrian.

difficult light to work in....job done...although a teenager plummeting would have made it more of a seller.

A beautiful capture of Henrhyd Adrian, that tree trunk left fg been there years, about time somebody took a chainsaw to it I think!!

Very well taken.

Very good image of the falls. A little Levels boost in the lower half would certainly improve the overall scene I think, but that's just my opinon.

Hi Adrian
I've been here a few times but like Gerwyn, I've never seen much water coming over. It's a lovely place but difficult to get a good shot, you've managed to do it justice here.
