Judging by the amount of light present, I have to agree that the silhouette looks fake. But stranger things do happen with far worse results. You probably captured this in a shady spot?

Tony, spot on, the sun was getting quite low over my left shoulder and immediately behind me was an area of quite dense bushes and trees. The area I was crouching in was heavily shaded.
