Mumbles Lifeboat Station
The light is so good that it can't be real. Excellent composition. Well executed. congrats.
Cracking image, great light and colours, well captured....
The light can be so good this time of year and you have captured it brilliantly
Great shot love it.
Wonderful light and colour. Great shot
Like the way the red jumps out, and stands out against the grey sea and sky.
great lighting - well taken.
Excellent shot,beautiful lighting and detail.lyne
Great colours and the lighting is great.
The red really makes the shot, but the lighting and the composition are very good too. Excellent photo.
what can i say - GERAT lighting and composition, just perfect
Great picture, colour and light.
This looks good here, fantastic at the larger size. The light picks out the red so well it jumps off the screen at you, lovely work.
Just beautiful. The light is so perfect.
It has all been said before but I will say it again. this is lovely
A wonderful brooding light and lovely rich, dark colours. This is a cracking good shot
Excellent well composed shot
Thank you all for your kind words and clicks. So many of you have been complimentary of the light in this shot, it was taken late afternoon, a couple of weeks ago, with the sun quite low in the sky behind and right of camera. To keep the detail in the sky, I have processed this shot twice from RAW, once as shot and secondly at -2 stops, I then used a graduated blend of these two images from half way down the sky area to the apex of the boathouse roof.
Wasnt sure if it should be in the Digitally Manipulated category but all I have actually done is try to reproduce the effect of using a ND Grad filter, hope you dont feel that this is cheating in some way, I feel that its just another way of achieving an effect that has been used for a very long time.
P.S. also applied usual Crop, Levels, Resize, USM.
Beautifully detailed shot, - and thanks for the tech info. Thats a great tip for reproducing an ND grad filter effect!
That 24-85mm lens is a real gem!
Loce the image, love the colours
great shot well taken
And I agree too. Well done.
Nice shot. I don't think it really matters what category it goes into, but landscape /travel is probably more appropriate if you look at the kind of shots which normally appear in digitally manipulated (which tend to be images that either look intentionally "unreal" or have had something added). Either way the light is great!
30th vote! Love the light.
Lovely image. I've got a shot of the lifeboat station in similar conditions from last February, been meaning to upload it for a while but you've beaten me to it now!
Yours is better anyway! ...congrats on a great picture ....click
Very well done, excellent shot
A lovely photo of a beautiful place, personally it doesnt matter to me whether you use a grad filter on-camera or later on the PC, photography is an art and it's the end result that matters and this is a very good photograph.
Excellent Adrian and a good and peaceful New Year to you
Light and colour are wonderful - well done

The lighting in this is simply superb.
Hi Adrian, love this capture, it's a very well composed view. Like the way the coures come together, especially the red of the walkway. Did you take this from the arcade??
Almost Richard, just a little way back toward Nab Rock where the railings end and the wall starts.
Thanks for your comments today on this and others from my portfolio.
The lighting is outstanding
Just spotted this on your portfolio. Fantastic shot. (click)
