Cockpit Shot

Cockpit Shot by MonsterMob

I bet on the original image, you can read the HUD Smile
Do you happen to know if the Mach loop is used daily or do you have to be in the know when to go there? Fairford and Farnborough are great for seeing these planes put through their paces, but I don't think you can beat the natural backdrop of Machynlleth as seen here for creating dramatic effect.

Incey Wincey Spider

Incey Wincey Spider by jakester

It's a garden orb spider. I have pictures of the top side of the spider. A few weeks later I saw it on the other side of the web and got a couple of the underside of it. It had grown considerably in the interim. I had hoped to capture it in the middle of the web as you have done here, but it was not for posing that day. Here you've captured it exactly how I wanted to. I see you also have the same green couloured fence Smile

I like the juxtaposition of old and new. The old but pristine 6201 steamining down the modern day electrified line. You can almost 'hear' this photo.

eye see!!!!

eye see!!!! by ghosthunter360

A garden orb spider. The detail is so clear. They are quite territorial. If you see it again, out on the web, you might try blowing lightly on the web. When I found one of these, it encouraged some movement to unfold all the legs.

Royal Daffodil on the Mersey

Royal Daffodil on the Mersey by Focus_Man

I wonder if you have ever taken the trip either up or down the Manchester Ship Canal on the Mersey Ferries?
This would be a great photo for publicity material, not just for Mersey ferries but for that day trip. You can almost feel the atmosphere on board.

Has anyone seen a plane around here ?

Has anyone seen a plane around here ? by johnbryan6

Quote: You could title this with the old hackneyed pantomime expression "It's behind you!". you have not completed the 'Description' section which is a shame as I would have loved to know where this was taken. To have this high-tech plane in full view of caravanners is extremely strange to say the least. As Willie has mentioned, just a little bit of processing required.

Focus Man, this was taken at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that the F-117 Nighthawk will be seen in the UK again as this was its final year before retirement from the USAF. It was an amazing plane to see both on the ground (Whilst it was on public display, it was also subject to armed guard) and in the air.

butterfly on yellow flower

This year I have seen more Peacock butterflies than ever. However, I've struggled to capture one displaying like this one, wings fully open and they are stunning colours. I think this is a fine specimen and captured so clearly. I wish they would pose like that for me Smile

Kingfisher courting

I wonder just how long you waited to get this perfect capture. To get a picture of a kingfisher in such clarity is always amazing, but a pair ... it's fabulous.
