Boat on the Loch

Taken earlier this week, during our short break in Scotland.
The waters on Loch Eil were akin to a mill pondSmile

I have received loads of messages during the last couple of months, from good folks wondering where I had disappeared toSad

I am still about and pop onto the site to give an occasional U.A and the odd contribution to the forumsWink

Until we finally upgrade to Infinity and achieve a decent download speed, then my time will still be limited.
The weather has not been conducive for any decent photography at The CoppiceSad Either the light has been as dull as ditch water, or extremely harsh.
Also our Dan's football is now taking up more and more time at the weekends. It appears as well as playing for the Under 18's, he is progressing to the main reserve team and possibly the main team too:
We will always offer him our full support and as such, the photography has to take a back seat, if need be.

I trust everyone is keeping OKGrin

Looks so peaceful and the reflections are superb. Have missed your images of late but fully understand the other demands. The weather here has been dire pretty much all year and undoubtedly makes photography a challange!

So quiet and peaceful, the waters as still as a millpond, and the soft winter colours adding warmth to the scene.
Ronnie.

Really missed your images Adrian and glad to hear you are well if a little short of spare time! Thought it was me being a dumbo with the light recently, so glad you have come out and said it has been either too dull or harshSmile

A beautiful and tranquil scene Adie, I like the reflections, sense of stillness and those autumn colours. I hope Dan's burgeoning football career continues to progress on an upward path, I'm sure he'll soon be a regular in Kettering's first team given their financial plight and continuing struggles to field a side! You may even get a game too if you bring your boots along!WinkGrinTongue

I had wondered where you were (been in hospital myself but better now) glad your ok and also to hear good news on the footsie front with your son, tell him good luck with that. My g'son was doing well and on his way to being in the pro league until he did knees in - an occupational hazard I believe
