On a drive earlier in the week I came across this tree.... wanted to get a bit closer but the farmer was driving around and he didnt look the type who wanted someone with a camera trampling around his property. Hand held outside the fence with my 70-200mm . In a few weeks I expect this tree to have shed its leave, not before turning colour hopefully..must get back there

Dropped from a birds nether regions and the tree has survived many years.
Farmers seem to leave trees like this, superstition or some legend that goes back a few hundred years?
