A trip to Nash point for a sunset shoot resulted in the sun showing for about 20 seconds...blink and you missed it - like the poor guy who was getting his gear out of his bag not far from me...a small ray of sun, some colour and then it was gone!! The guy had travelled from Cleveland and like myself has left home with the sun shining with good broken cloud - it had looked so promising earlier n'all. Sad

Like this alot - seascapes and coastal shots always seem to have more impact with oppressive cloud formations - well, that's what I think anyway Smile. Lovely composition and detail.

Well done Alan. You appear to have a very good ' artists ' eye on these landscapes. This is a lovely composition.

Compositionally excellent Al and I like the colour.
Find that dark pool a bit ugly though have you got any without it?

I did wonder if you could crop some of the foreground out and miss out the dark pool which I find a little distracting but only a minor point and me being picky - its still a great shot

I think that this is a belter Al. A great moody sky, that shaft of light and an interesting foreground to take you through the frame. Well done mate.
