Thanks all for yesterday's comments on the Jay, much appreciated.

In contrast to yesterday's big pink thing, here is a little pink thing taken on the same shoot, the mouse like Long tailed tit. Love these little balls of fluff. Whilst out walking the dog a week or so ago I watched two of these builld a fabulous nest over the period of a week or so...its a lovely dome shape with a hole near the top. It's gone very quiet around that area at the moment so I am hoping they are inside at sat on some eggs

These are my favs so flitty and delicately coloured. great colours and detail in the feathers, with a good perch and bg.lesley
