Very dramatic and moody composition Alan. The contrast beteween the white of the snow and the very dark sky is most effective.

A very nicely composed shot, with a lovely warm tone belying the fact that it must have been very cold. The side to back lighting has helped make the shot by highlighting all the details and textures in the snow.
