This is a stunning B&W landscape, Alan. The composition, textures and tones are all excellent. I particularly like the juxtapositions throughout, the dark foreground giving way to the sunlit valley and then the silhouette of the peaks against the lighter sky - sublime.

Monochrome adds such a lot to an already dramatic landscape here, the hills are millions of years old and have evolved and changed many times over these eons. A beautiful capture enhanced by B&W.
