On my way home from a disappointing steam train shoot - my camera stopped on me after 4 shots when the train came into view - I wandered up to one of my fave haunts over looking the usk valley. It was a gorgeous morning and I had decided to try out a lens I haven't used much, my 24mm. I was miles away in my own thoughts when I heard something behind me...the farmer in his tractor. He stopped for a chat for about 10 mins and I thanked him for allowing me on his land and then he drove on....and into the image I had been composing...so I clicked a few shots as he came into view. To be honest this turned out to be my fave shot of the day...Grin

That's a beaut, Alan. Excellent composition and light and the tractor driving into the scene makes the shot for me. Wonderful.

Wonderful shot; pin sharp, spot-on exposure, vibrant colour and a great composition. Smile

This is gorgeous. The long shadows cast across the foreground wall, the breath-taking landscape, the farmer going about his daily chores - a joy to view.
