We have had some visitors in town since last Friday from Scandanavia...they like our Rowen berries. Started with 5 visitors then we had 8 but it's gone down to 3 now...the berries have nearly gone too. My telephoto lens has gone back to Canon so perhaps the forecasted snow will mean i can get some landscapes shots around here. This is one of my efforts from the last few days...not totally happy with it but its a decent record short methinks.

better than a record shot IMO the waxwing will strip the berries in no time at all - no need to tell you tho, a little more space in front - of him would be better but as for the picture I like it a lot
What a great capture Al - I've never seen one of these in the flesh, beautiful little bird - well done !
Fingers crossed for some snow - might see you towards the end of the week then up on the mountains somewhere !

Much better than a record shot Alan, great timing mate, it's a shame he wasn't facing the other way
A clean crips image my friend, nowt to be bashful about for me. What ails your long lens? I've never sent anything to Canon, are they quick?
