...off Loch Dunmore by the old boathouse. The mist & light played well considering the late hour, but the sun has to rise above the surrounding hills, before it hits the water here.
A couple of hours of sunshine yesterday, strong winds and rain on the way home.

Fantastic Autumnal colours and reflection, so well composed, a beautiful image.
Dave
A capture of the highest order. Perfect framing, wonderful reflection, composition, colour; what really caught my eye is the depth of the image created by the mist, almost dividing the picture physically in the middle. Breathtaking.
Regards
Bill
Stunning! Particularly the combination of luminous clarity, shadows and soft mist.
Moira
Super colours n light in this Dougie and of course one of your trademark reflections ![]()

Dougie, I allow myself to quote Bill, as I cannot say it better than he has.
Top drawer in all respects, my friend.
As you said yourself, your eye is the most important tool in your bag.![]()

Been a few years since I was down here Dougie. Not easy to get a good composition as I remember but you've done very well here.
such a beautiful wee loch, and the reflection is perfect.
I hope you feel good and are back to your old self.
Take care,
Johanna
A truly stunning shot Dougie. The light and colour are magical. The composition ain't too shabby either.
