Another shot from a most rewarding day spent in Sussex in the garden of Sylvia ( Teocali ) This bird was being a perfect parent and collecting food for a nearby nest of juveniles. Hope you like it.
My very very grateful thanks for all c/c 's on my last posting - Talk Talk. A most flattering response.
My particular thanks are due to Stuart ( JackAllTog ) for the GEA, and Richard ( Mossy Oak ), Mike ( HasselbladUK ), Illi ( Illiboy ), Neil ( Neil Wigan ) for their UA's.
Like most folks I am still having trouble finding time enough to comment on shots so please forgive mores votes than comments. One day my world will move a little more slowly!!![]()

great image (personally I feel spoilt, as a pure photograph, by the text which would be more in place in a wildlife/bird book), just my opinion, but a super shot.
Many thanks for sharing,
Joe B

not long since you posted and I am still bottom of the comments
great shot Ron
A brilliant capture Ron, just what we've come to expect from a man of your calibre. The detail and clarity in the plumage are sublime and the green makes the perfect backdrop
