Sorry. I know, but it had to be done...several times in fact Grin Thanks for the wonderful response to my last two offerings. Almost a personal best on the votes front. Hope this one doesn't disappoint. It had been raining heavily but the showers stopped and a glimpse of low sun tried to break through, while three fellow-tourists crammed themselves into the MacRae's doorway for shelter (not really visible at this size, sorry)
Regards
Alun

Many thanks Pete for the EC - totally unexpected but great to receive.
It is indeed a well-photographed location so nothing new here. I was glad that they light it up in the evening though. Smile

You've put your own stamp on this Alun - I especially love the detail in the water in the foregound and the warm light on the castle. Many congrats on the EC.

Thanks a lot. Anna - I was lucky to get a few images because the heavens opened most of the time I was there. However, when the light broke through I was generally at a photogenic location such as this.
Thanks Paul and Rob and a big thanks to sarah for her GEA Smile

Confound it! Thanks Ian as a Welsh speaker my own natural pronunciation and spelling makes me want to stick an 'i' which gives nan 'ee' sound in English where the e in Eilean should be. I'll change it although I may have to upload it as a version. Many thanks and apologies to my cousins in the far north Grin

Thanks Dougie and Kaz - appreciate your comments,
