Every so often i work weekends in a PetShop. One very slow day i had my camera in my bag so decided to take some shots of the Reptiles.
This lad was one of the Water Lizards I shot.
I love the texture of the Skin and that cheeky face!
Tried playing with Borders for the first time in this shot too. I think it helps bring out the shot some.
Hope yas Enjoy anyways!
I don't normally go much on borders, but agree that this one works well with the colours of your subject.
This border is just right - I agree with David I usually prefer understatement in borders but this one is perfect.
beautiful shot... really warm
nice capture, great colours and texture
Good looking Water Dragon
Hey Alan, welcome to ephotozine.
Its a lovely shot, I was shooting water dragons myself last week and they can be so skitty sometimes, not always easy to get in close to as they usually leap away. Much harder to photograph than some of the more stationary pets.
I too work with reptiles, my partner and I own the Reptile zone in Bristol, which shop do you work in?
great capture and well done
This is a great shot Alan, love the colour and detail of the little beastie.
Nice presentation too.
amazing capture..love the presentation as well
Ah I love the name! Nice photo though, border works well!
Nice shot. I see you use the same camera as I do. I'm still tossing around the idea of getting an SLR.
Just seen this, going through some peoples portfolios. Lovely sharp shot and colour.
