My mates Bill and John went with me up Ben Lomond on Saturday. This is a wee pool just after we turned backSad. The last snow squall nearly blew us over and we reckoned the ridge would be a bit wild so we settled down by this pool for lunch. We might have made it but even our crampons would have been useless, so we'll just have to go back. Yesterday when we had to come home, the sun shone and the mountain laughed at usGrin Back in May for an easier day. I'll add a couple of versions.
