As we get ready for our next trip to India, I find that I still have a lot of images from the last trip that I haven't shared.
This fantastic painting was on a wall of the Maharajah's palace in the town of Mandawa, not far from Delhi. It shows Lord Shiva riding on an elephant, but if you look carefully it's an elephant made up of local maidens. This is so inventive and very lovely. Someone else's art of course but it deserves a wider audience.
