Lioness carrying the part eaten carcass of a warthog to a spot where all the cubs can join in the feast.

In this group there are two mothers, each with four cubs, and another lioness with no cubs who acts as a baby sitter and aunt. All the cubs were fathered by Notch.

Both well taken shots but V2 has great appeal with the youngsters obviously very eager to get their dinner.

Wonderful shots that deserve far more votes, but people are a bit squeamish I guess. This is nature red in tooth and claw - literally. V2 is the shot that I like better because of the group interest, but V1 is spectacular too.
