Hi, I was stood in the very same spot 2 weeks ago - very difficult to get good foreground interest so i was trying a long exposure with a 10 stopper. There is some quite interesting black sand (unless the water level is up and covered it) and I had left a stick for foreground interest. Living round the corner at Draughton, so may see you there one day.
I think you have done great, getting some nice colours and a good view point/comp whilst avoiding the walk way on the right.

ps - I'll load it tomorrow - it's not great but shows what a variance a few feet and different exposures can make.
